Exits, Exits follows the journeys of five female(ish) characters as they leave our “world” and venture towards another. The story focuses on the moment of departure and transition, rather than the arrival. Each character's departure is driven by a sense of discomfort or discontent that fuels their desire for a different existence. Drawing inspiration from the traditional storytelling principle of departures, the characters travel through multiple planes, some seeking, some fleeing, leading the reader to explore various emotions and contemplate aspects of a system we might not have consciously chosen. In its form, the story combines sci-fi and classic comic aesthetics while taking on a more dream-like and experimental narrative.
